Scoot Science hires Dr. Sherry Lippiatt

Scoot welcomes Dr. Sherry Lippiatt as a Risk and Finance Communications Specialist. Sherry is an ocean scientist with over a decade of marine policy experience. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where her research focused on the biogeochemistry of iron in seawater, and was a 2010 Sea Grant Knauss Marine Policy Fellow. At Scoot, Sherry supports Scoot's risk and finance and sales teams, communicating the value of Scoot's ocean analytics and finance tools.

I'm excited about Scoot's approach to reducing ocean risk and the opportunity to bring new capital to the aquaculture industry.
